The component of the grade entitled "machining" includes such factors as squareness of the corners, flatness of the faces, etc. "Accuracy" reflects the extent to which critical dimensions were properly achieved. The "finish" component of the grade accounts for the quality of the surface finish and the lack of holes or other gouges in the surface.
