Update: Motor Specifications

HP/Mabuchi DC/PM Brush motor C3804-60022 / TKS-71-0372

Nominal specs from manufacturer:

Stall Torque (24V): 0.094 N-m
No-Load Speed (24V): 3540 rpm
Inertia: 50 g-cm^2

For this contest, we will drive the motor at 20 Volts (Voltage set with no load on motor shaft). The stall torque and the no load speed values are approximately proportional to the operating voltage, translating the nominal values to

No-Load Speed (20V): 2950 rpm

Simulation Code

The following items may be potentially useful if you attemp to simulate the motor/transmission combination. We make no warrantees about the correctness of any of these codes. At the bare minimum, you are likely to need to change the code, at least to account for different motor constants, etc. This code is free. You get what you pay for.
