Stergios Roumeliotis graduated with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 1995. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in Electrical Engineering in 1999 and 2000 respectively. His Ph.D. thesis focused on robust localization of single and groups of mobile robots under the advisement of Professor George A. Bekey entitled "Robust Mobile Robot Localization: From Single-Robot Uncertainties to Multi-Robot Interdependencies". He is currently a postdoctoral fellow working with Professor Joel W. Burdick at the California Institute of Technology and Dr. Larry H. Matthies from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
