Hi! Note that this page will be updated very infrequently I'm now at JPL, working on extraterrestrial sampling systems. I worked on Mars Science Lab in the past, now spending most of my time on the Mars 2020 Rover. Updated contact info: klk -at- kajisti dot org I was a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at Caltech. My advisor was Joel Burdick. My research focuses on sensor-based motion planning algorithms for mobile robots. We are working on an algorithm that incorporates Kalman Filtering ideas from SLAM. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in June of 1999. |
